Get Rid Of Paper Wasps Safely
Wasps can often creep their way into your patio or outside your front door. Now the question arises if you know what type of wasp you are dealing with.
There are over 200 paper wasps around the world and only 22 that live in America, according to Cardon Ellis from Unipest Pest Control.
A customer that Cardon was dealing with had paper wasps nests outside his backyard. Paper wasps tend to have long slender legs that hang when they take flight and yellow markings. You can also tell they are paper wasps if they have a beehive looking nest which is how they got their name.
Their saliva is strong at making the nests which led scientists to synthesis the salvia to make waterproof coverings. The paper wasps make their paper mache nests by their mixing their saliva with cellular debris and plant material.
Paper wasps are known as social wasps that only survive through colonies and they are not aggressive to nearby movement from humans or animals. They can produce an allergic reaction to those who are allergic to stings if they are bothered.

To remove the wasp nest the first step is to suit up and locate all areas that are affected. After that you will need a spray that you can get for $19.99 or less. Of course, always be cautious when removing the nest.
Most sprays spray up to 25-30 feet, but Cardon advises us to not do it from that distance since lots of product will be wasted and bad for the environment.
“Try to get up there in their face—trust your bee suit—and try to do this from close to point blank as close as you can,” Cardon said.
Make sure no one is around the area you are spraying since wasps can still react after being sprayed. Ensure that no wasps fall into a sleeve or shirt.
Leave the nests alone until the next day so that it can take effect on the wasps that are looking for food for the young. Once they are back they will die once they reach the nest because of the spray.
