DIY Tip For Raccoon Removal With Santa Clarita Pest Control Company Unipest

“They don’t like the noise,” he said. “Raccoons, whenever (a mom) sets up a nesting site, instinctual she has an alternate nesting site. So if something’s irritating her in her first nesting site, then they’ll automatically take the babies out that night one by one to the alternative nesting site, and she will remove herself and her children for you for free.”
Residents who don’t know raccoons are living in or outside their house typically call Unipest because they’ve noticed an infestation of fleas.
After spraying the house and property, if the flea problem remains, the next step the Santa Clarita pest control company will take is to search for the “host animal,” Ellis continued.
“Oftentimes we think it might be rats, so we’ll be scouring their attics to find rats, and the next thing you know, you’re face to face with a raccoon mom and her babies,” he said.
If the resident wants to bring in experts to remove the raccoons at this point, Unipest would partner with wildlife removal specialists for the job and perform an “exclusion” on the house, according to Ellis.
“We aren’t licensed to do the wildlife removal. I work with wildlife removal people,” he said. “But we can perform the exclusion, meaning seal up the house so they can’t get in.”
